Today’s Morning Man: Juan Pablo Di Pace!

Outfest wrapped up on Sunday and I saw 15 movies plus a program of short films. One of the four flicks I took in on Saturday was The Mattachine Family and one of its stars is today’s Morning Man: Juan Pablo Di Pace who is celebrating his 43rd birthday.

Juan Pablo came out publicly as a gay man in 2019 and Mattachine is one of the high-profile gay roles he has played in recent years with the other being the lead in Dashing in December.

He was a regular on the sitcom Fuller House, the TNT reboot of Dallas and in 2018, played Jesus Christ in A.D. The Bible Continues, and competed on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. His movie credits include Mamma Mia! and he has played the leads in stage productions of Grease and Saturday Night Fever.
