Today’s Morning Man: Jake Gyllenhaal!

Jake Gyllenhaal turns 41 today and this handsome talent is aging like fine wine.

His film career has been so eclectic and rich as he has juggled big commercial hits like Spider-Man: Far from Home and The Day After Tomorrow with terrific roles in such films as The Sisters Brothers, Donnie Darko, Stronger, Nocturnal Animals, Zodiac, End of Watch, Proof, Jarhead, Love & Other Drugs, among several others.

He was nominated for an Oscar for Brokeback Mountain and most certainly should have been for Nightcrawler.

On stage, he had a huge Broadway triumph in Sea Wall/A Life for which he was nominated for Tony Awards for Best Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role In A Play and Best Play. He starred in the 2017 revival of Sunday in the Park with George and earlier this month opened in the play Slave Play.
