Today’s Morning Man: Dan Amboyer!

Dreamy actor Dan Amboyer has been a Morning Man several times dating back to 2011 when played Prince William in the Hallmark Channel film William & Catherine: A Royal Romance.

Since today is Dan’s birthday and I think you all deserve a belated Christmas gift from me, he’s center stage once again on the Greg in Hollywood blog!

If you watched the late, great Netflix comedy Uncoupled then you know Dan was in one of the most memorable episodes as
Neil Patrick Harris’ new boyfriend Luke who was a bit too quick in settling into the relationship.

Dan is best known for his supporting role in the terrific television series Younger from 2015-2016 and in 2017 in which he played two very different twins named Chad and Thad. In more recent years, he’s done guest spots on Dynasty, Blue Bloods, FBI: Most Wanted, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Hawaii Five-0 and was in six episodes of NBC’s The Blacklist: Redemption. Earlier in this career, Dan guest-starred on Law & Order, Body of Proof, Inside Amy Schumer, and Person of Interest. He also starred in the popular online series Vicious Mannies which can be found on YouTube.

Dan has scores of theater credits including roles in the off-Broadway plays Remembrance of Things Past, Squash, and Friends and Relations among many others. He has also been in regional productions of Cabaret, The Importance of Being Earnest, Godspell, and Grease and in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond. Dan has also been in multiple productions at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and in the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

Dan’s wedding to Eric Philip Berger gave him the opportunity to come out publicly as a gay man. The couple have two children and Dan sometimes posts about his family on Instagram. He also does videos for birthdays etc. via Cameo.
