Today’s Morning Man: Chris Pine!

Wishing a happy 43rd birthday to movie star Chris Pine who we have loved as James T. Kirk in the Star Trek movies and as Steve Trevor in the Wonder Woman films.

We first got noticed him on the big screen in 2004’s Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement as the love interest of Anne Hathaway’s leading character. He followed that with a memorable role the next year in the TV film Surrender, Dorothy opposite Diane Keaton.

He followed Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck in the role of CIA analyst Jack Ryan when he starred in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and other high-profile films have included Unstoppable opposite Denzel Washington, Hell or High Water opposite Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges, and the movie version of the Broadway musical Into the Woods.

Chris really made us all want to marry him at 2015 Oscars when John Legend and Common’s performance of the song Glory from the movie Selma was so powerful that it moved Pine to tears.
