Today’s Holiday Tune: See Michael Buble & Barbra Streisand’s marvelous duet of “It Had To Be You”

Haven’t even started reading My Name is Barbra but a lot of my friends have and they report that Barbra Streisand’s detailing in her autobiography of how each record, movie and TV special came together has sent them in to wormholes of her past work. One of my friends who is listening to the audio version said the other day: “I just re-watched Funny Girl.” So with Barbra on so many minds these days, here is a number from the 2014 TV special Michael Buble’s Christmas in New York which simply splendid. You have Streisand, then in her early 70s, looking and sounding so amazing. She really is a wonder and Michael Buble is one of the best interpreters of holiday tunes of his generation.
