Throwback Thursday Video: A look back at the Lucky Vanous Diet Coke commercial

Someone actually gave me a Lucky Vanous calendar back around this time and in a still mostly pre-Internet age, I sure appreciated it.

There was a time – a brief time – that Lucky was just about the sexiest man alive thanks to this Diet Coke commercial in 1994 when an office full of women took what they called a ‘Diet Coke break.’ But they weren’t having any beverage: they gathered at a window overlooking a construction site to watch the hunky worker (Lucky) take his break.

He would peel his shirt off and enjoy a Diet Coke and we would all drool.

Good times.
