Thomas Roberts is an Emmy winner for SCOTUS same-sex marriage ruling coverage

A huge congratulations to MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts who won an Emmy earlier tonight. The award was for NBC/MSNBC’s breaking news coverage of the US Supreme Court’s historic ruling on same-sex marriage which brought marriage equality to all 50 states. ‘What a great honor tonight for our team,’ Thomas wrote on Facebook. The award was among those presented at the 37th News & Documentary Emmy Awards.
