Thom Bierdz: “I love my life!”
Got a nice, upbeat email from Thom Bierdz that I want to share part of with you.
As you know, Thom is part of a remarkable storyline on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless that has him back on the show after a 20-plus years absence.
Not only does Thom return as an openly gay actor, but his character of Phillip Chancellor III is also gay. He appears in today’s episode which is probably airing PST right about now. Sorry if you didn’t set the DVR!
“My return to The Young and the Restless playing Phillip Chancellor/Phillip Langley is going great,” Thom writes. “How grateful I am to have so much support in my life and career…. I love my life!”
The Human Rights Campaign will honor Thom with their Visibility Award in Minneapolis on September 12 and he will join the Y&R cast at the annual fan dinner in Sherman Oaks on the 28th.
