The return of “The Fosters” has teens Jude and Connor adjusting to being a couple

Caught the third season premiere of The Fosters last night and boy, I really do love this show.

As you know, adorable teen couple Jude and Connor made TV history in March when they became the youngest same-sex couple to share an on-screen kiss.

Their new romance continues on this week’s episode but the best friends turned boyfriends are now facing new challenges.

They are now grappling with something all young couples face: how public should they go with their relationship?

Jude knows how he feels about Connor and yet he reacts negatively when a classmates describes him as gay.

‘My whole life I’ve been labeled as something,’ he later explains to Connor. ‘The new kid or the foster kid or the kid with the dead mom and I’m sick of it. Why can’t I just be Jude? I just want to be Jude for awhile.’
