The Emmys, the Oscars and the Tonys? Big deal! It’s time to get ready for the 2010 Greggys!!!

Greg In Hollywood is nearly two years old but this year will mark the First Annual Greggys!

And you are invited!!!

(Hey, what did you expect them to be called? I’m someone who named his blog after himself!)

Starting tomorrow, I will begun to unveil my picks for the best of 2010 including Male and Female Stars of the Year, New Star of the Year, TV show of the Year, Movie of the Year, Straight Ally of the Year, Icon of the Year, Top Moments of the Year and much more!

So stay tuned!

There will also be a Morning Man of the Year but I’m looking for some reader feedback on that. Here is a LINK to the archives listing the year’s men (must have been from 2010). Sharon and I worked together for many years at the Los Angeles Daily News and among my finest memories of my time there was her and I brainstorming for a series of entertainment-themed Sunday Business section covers on everything from the return of the movie musical to the endangered VHS format to movie titles too long to fit on the marquee!
