See season two trailer for the hilarious “The Disappointments” and catch on season one episodes!

This show is so funny!
The Disappointments, from creator/director Rich Burns, is the Humanitas Prize-winning digital series about three middle-aged gay best friends trying to figure out how to live their best lives. The Director’s Cut of Season One is available to stream on YouTube now (I’ve embedded them below) ahead of the premiere of Season Two this Sunday, March 22 at 1pm ET / 10am PT with additional episodes dropping at the same time every Sunday through May 10.
The show has such a talented cast and the comedy is, at times, laugh out loud funny. Burns portrays Ray Russo, Gedde Watanabe is Gary Chen, James Campbell as James Caldwell, and the gorgeous Trevor LaPaglia is Dwight.
About what to expect from Season Two, creator Burns says, “We ended Season One with a big cliffhanger – a time jump, where we see Ray and Dwight were broken up with no explanation. In Season Two, we see what went down between them and what comes next. This season will also dive more deeply into the lives and careers of Ray, James, and Gary. We see them in new and challenging work settings, and getting promising opportunities that could help them turn their lives around. I’m really excited for people to see the incredible work our cast and crew have done, and I can’t wait for viewers to meet all the new characters who bring the laughs and conflict and more heart and more drama. Season Two is definitely a big step up.”
