The Big Four of Men’s tennis – Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray – square off in Madrid

I’m a tennis freak and I think tennis is very Hollywood so that’s why you find some tennis content, like this, here on Greg In Hollywood.

This video is a terrific feature on the four superstars of men’s tennis who are currently all in Spain competing for the Madrid Open title, one of the biggest warm-up tournaments for the French Open.

I’ve been following tennis since the early 1980s and it is clear that this is a golden age with four bonafide superstars pushing each other to further greatness. Top-ranked Novak Djokovic, winner of six grand slam titles, has been the most dominant in recent years.

But refusing to let go are second-ranked Roger Federer who is the reigning Wimbledon champion and winner of 16 grand slam titles overall and Rafael Nadal, the seven-time French Open winner and holder of 11 grand slam titles overall.

And adding to the mix is third-ranked Andy Murray, the reigning US Open and Olympic champion who is eager to add to his grand slam haul.

It’s a big week and it will be an amazing summer if all four remain healthy and eager!

One Remark

  1. Very disappointed that none of the big four have mentioned Jason Collins’ coming out or spoken of why no one in the top 100 has come out. Can tennis be as conservative as golf? I hope not.
