“The Amazing Race” debuts tonight with gay brothers Dan and Sam McMillen among the competitors
The Amazing Race, which won the Emmy for outstanding competitive reality show the seventh consecutive year last weekend.
Tonight, the show has its eighth season premiere and the show has been pretty gay-inclusive from the beginning. This season’s teams include a pair of brothers who are both gay! Their names are 21-year-old Dan McMillen and 23-year-old Sam McMillen.
They only came out to each other last summer, accoidng to the show’s Web site, and are now closer than ever due to the newfound honesty.
Dan describes himself as organized, open-minded and spontaneous and hopes to gain a new sense of appreciation for his life from running the Race with his brother. His hobbies include exercise, volunteering and traveling.
Sam claims to be optimistic and happy-go-lucky and his hobbies include cinema, logic games and anything involving the outdoors.
