Susan Olsen: ‘I think that the real LGBT community knows that I have and always will support them’
Susan Olsen of The Brady Bunch is saying sorry for using anti-gay slurs in a private Facebook post to a gay actor.
‘Somehow the actual apology that I made days ago did not get posted,’ Olsen claims on her Facebook page.
‘I am very sorry for ever hurting the LGBT community that I love so much. For that, I am sorry and frankly find it hilarious that I am being called a homophobe. What could be more rediculous (her spelling)???

Olsen was canned 11 days ago from an unpaid gig Los Angeles radio show on LA Talk Radio for using anti-gay slurs against a gay actor in a Facebook message made public.
The politically conservative Olsen played Cindy Brady on the classic ABC sitcom from 1969-74 and in most of its later incarnations.
She was incensed when out actor Leon Acord described her as a ‘Trump fanatic’ and called for her to be fired from the radio show in Facebook post.
He accused Olsen of spreading misinformation.
Olsen sent Acord a private message calling him a ‘faggot’ more than once and a ‘pussy’ among other crude insults. Acord screenshot the messages and made them public.
The station took quick action and said in a statement on its Facebook page that it had ‘severed ties’ with Olsen.
While sorry, Olsen claimed last week in a separate Facebook post that ‘this is only about me supporting Trump. And I still do!’
She added: ‘And by the way, how does one get fired from a job they were never paid to do?’
