I first heard Amy Grant’s music in 1977, when my older sister bought her first album on cassette, and I immediately fell in love with her voice, her music, and the words of her songs. I never heard her say anything negative about anyone, but I had never really thought about what she thought about gays, but hearing her response made me smile. Amy Grant has always been about love, acceptance, and most of all, dealing with the reality of day-to-day life. She is the very definition of a “beautiful soul”.
