Streisand touts Obama’s LGBT record in video
It’s no surprise that the famously liberal Barbra Streisand is supporting President Barack Obama for re-election.
In a video for the National Jewish Democratic Council, Streisand talks about Obama’s accomplishments – including on LGBT issues.
“He has done more for the LGBT community than any president before him, repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and signing the Matthew Shepard Hates Crimes Act into law. … In this good man, we have a president we can trust.’
She’s no fan of Mitt Romney: ‘Governor Romney would take us backwards and is as extreme as it gets.’
