Steve Grand’s Kickstarter campaign ends – $326,593 raised for “All-American Boy” debut album
The goal was to raise $81,000 so Steve Grand could finish recording his debut album without a record company.
The singer who became an internet sensation with his song and video All-American Boy managed to do that and more in a Kickstarter campaign that ended just hours again.
The grand total raised: $326,593!
Writes Steve: “Sorry for getting a little emotional… Hard not to with the immeasurable love and support I have received… And the way you have all been supporting each other. Love you so much my beloved GrandFam. I will never forget this.”
In an emotional video he says: “You’ve changed my my life. … I am forever grateful.

I hope that he finds even “Grander” success with debut CD. It will be a salute to the internet, and its power to promote artists that the people find worthy.
