Steve Grand posts Valentine’s Day video filled with “no nonsense romantic tips from one homo to another’

We all know Steve Grand is a terrific singer but now he’s aiming to become something of an advice giver about romance and sex – at least according to his latest YouTube video titled Nothing says “I love you” like a clean butt hole.

Uh, okay.

He eats ice cream with whip cream and chocolate syrup and tears into a heart-shaped box of chocolates while sharing his sage advice as what seems to be some other version of Steve Grand. The real Steve, or at least the Steve we’ve come to think we know, appears to return at the end of this.

I’m not sure what to make of it all. Do any of you find it useful, interesting or charming?

Interested in your thoughts.

3 Remarks

  1. I think he thinks he’s being funny and cute?
This vid, like all his others, is just another version of self marketing, albeit bad. He really ought to consider the use of a publicist.

  2. I concur with Marc.

  3. Steve *IS* funny and cute. I thought the video was hilarious and actually quite well made. Obviously it isn’t to everyone’s taste, since it fell flat with Marc and James. Even Greg seems puzzled by the intent of the video.

Steve is just showing the goofier side of his personality and the video is all in fun. I mean, does anyone seriously believe he can regularly indulge in ice cream and chocolates and still be able to maintain that ripped physique?

The thing is, success in the music industry takes more than just talent. You need to be able to connect regularly with the fans and I think he’s doing a great job of navigating social media via YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.
