Soap Clips: Luke Snyder’s very bad day: Noah wants to move away and Damian’s body is “positively identified”

If I was Luke Snyder on As the World Turns, I’d just start drinking again.

First of all, his blind boyfriend Noah is a complete moron who is moving in with his ex-girlfriend so he can be away from Luke as he tries to get his sight back.  But then Margo, the most hapless police Lt. in the history of daytime soaps, comes to the door and tells Luke that his conniving bio-dad Damian’s body has been found off the coast of Malta.

Suddenly, Noah is in no rush to flee the Snyder home to go work on his blindness.

Luke finally seems to be getting impatient with this wishy-washy dude: “You’ve been pushing me away for months and my father dies and suddenly you remember you love me? … You need to make a decision: either you’re with me or you’re not.”

Then Luke’s mom Lily blurts out to Margo that Holden saw Damian on the docks before he disappeared and he is taken in for questioning.

I can’t believe Damian is really dead because people just don’t die on this show. Noah’s murderous father was presumed drowned but resurfaced while Holden himself was supposedly dead only to return.
