In remarks to the press today, with @justinpjtrudeau at my side, I said in this moment in our history in the U.S. I was blessed to be here in this beautiful city and I was reminded that after all is said and done… “We fight for beauty. We fight for creativity. We fight to be who we are. But most of all, we fight to love.” Happy Pride #Montreal And thank you, Mr. Trudeau. You moved me to tears with your beautiful and heart felt words of support to our community. I had forgotten the power in hearing your head of state speak with such authority about ideas like diversity, inclusion, responsibility and yes LOVE! Thank you for restoring my hope we shall see that back home. @fiertemontreal
