Snapped! Steve Grand rallies for Illinois marriage
As if Steve Grand was not already wonderful enough.
So not only does he write great songs like All-American Boy and Stay and make terrific videos for them, but he’s also using his newfound fame to try and make a difference on the marriage equality front.
Earlier today, Steve was among the thousands who participated in the March on Springfield to put pressure on the Illinois legislature to take action on a stalled gay marriage bill.
He tweeted pics and messages throughout including “Let’s do this Illinois!” “Pass the damn bill!” and “Honored to be a part.”

Good for him. I live in Chicago and am hoping Illinois finally takes charge with this. Of course, today the religious *cough cough* leaders are at the State Capitol doing what they do best, discriminate.
