Snapped! Scott Caan surfs!
Scott Caan had a pretty good career in movies with roles in Ocean’s Eleven and its two sequels, Into the Blue and Friends With Money but it is the hit CBS crime-drama Hawaii Five-O that has made him a big star.
His performance as Danny ‘Danno’ Williams on the show is so appealing and his chemistry with co-star Alex O’Loughlin is delicious.
Not only does Scott get to be in a big hit, he also gets to live in Hawaii for big chunks of the year and engage in his passion for surfing.

I wasn’t certain if this remake of H5O was going to catch my attention, but it has… I have been an Alex O’Loughlin fan for several years now and still miss his Mick St.John character he played in the wrongfully canceled “Moonlight” series ( male vampire PI falls in love with a human female news reporter and he wants to become mortal again)… And, I was unfamiliar with Scott Caan’s film work, but loved all of his father’s films beginning as Sonny Corelone in the Godfather… At first I felt Scott was playing Danno way too stiff, perhaps taking his cue from the way the late Jame MacArthur orginally played Danno Willams… As of late we get to see a softer side of Danno played by Scott, an altogether different Danno whose life never showed up on the original H5O with the late Jack Lord. And, finally fans are beginning to note the on-screen commoraderie between McGarrett and Williams that was never seen in the 1st series… It definitely has to do with the different guys playing these parts in a different era… Caan and O’Loughlin click, keep bookin’ then Danno, you’re growing on me…
