Snapped! Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise!
So this is what male movie stars look like at 50.
Not bad!
So what possibly could have brought megastars Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise together this week?
It was the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honoring Jerry Bruckheimer who has produced big hits for both.
Depp’s next film, The Lone Ranger, is produced by Bruckheimer as have the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
‘These days the word legend gets bandied around all too easily, but not here and not today,” Depp said at the ceremony. “My path was fortunate enough to collide with this man some years ago, and certainly since my collaboration with Jerry, my life has never been the same and probably won’t be for a while, anyway.”
“Without Jerry there would be no ‘Pirates’ there would be no Captain Jack, there would be no revived ‘Lone Ranger,’ there would be no reinvigorated Tonto. So I have a lot to thank him for.”
Bruckheimer produced Cruise’s first box office megahit Top Gun which was released in 1986.
