Snapped! Gio Benitez unplugged in Sedona!

Blown away by the majesty of Sedona. This year, I’ve been trying to put the devices away, turn off those alerts, and experience more human connections. So it was serendipitous that as we hiked to the Boynton Canyon Vortex today, we met a kind stranger who stopped to give us a gift. The man reached into his pocket and handed over pieces of Mother Earth in the shape of hearts. Red rocks from the very grounds we were walking on, made to look like the universal symbol of love. You can see them in photos 4 and 5. To me, that small memento represents a monumental gesture of kindness. I hope the story of how we got them encourages you to keep the kindness train rolling in 2020. I know I will.
