Supercouple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi left the chilly and rainy weather of Los Angeles behind and spent their holiday in sunny St. Barts.

The UK’s Daily Mail reports: Walking hand in hand through the streets of Gustavia, St Barts, the couple couldn’t have looked happier as they spent their Boxing Day shopping in exclusive stores like Louis Vuitton.

It’s been a busy year for this pair. Portia’s deeply personal memoir about her struggle with anorexia was published and Ellen juggled her syndicated daytime show with being a judge on American Idol.

Ellen has left Idol behind just as the show appears to be something of a sinking ship!
