Snapped! Dame Elizabeth Taylor and her three Oscars: “It’s not the having, it’s the getting”
The legendary Elizabeth Taylor was nominated for five best actress Academy Awards and won in 1961 for Butterfield 8 and in 1967 for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolfe? In 1993, she received a well-deserved Honorary Oscar for her tireless work as an activist for HIV-AIDS. She co-founded and raised many millions for the American Foundation of AIDS Research (AmFAR) and for The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation which focused on patient care.
