Simon Cowell doesn’t have much of a sense of humor about someone joking that he is gay
The one-time bitchy American Idol judge Simon Cowell was not amused about a joke that he is gay.
He and comedian David Walliams were promoting the upcoming season of Britain’s Got Talent on ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show when Wallaims joked: “The main question I get is, Is Simon gay? Even my mum asks. She says, He’s nice. Is he gay?”
Simon did not laugh it off and instead tried to change the subject. He started talking about his sleeping habits which usually consist of staying up until 5 a.m. or so and rising at noon.
Wallaims used this bit of information to crack another gay joke: “At 12 o’clock at night you’re working quite hard – because that’s when the lady boys come round.”
Uh boy.
Simon did recently break up with his latest girlfriend. I think this one was actually a fiancee.
So what do you think? Should Simon have a better sense of humor about it? Was Wallaims way out of line?

Personally, I think Simon looks like Jethro Bodine from the Beverly Hillbillies, which is not a bad thing. But Jethro had more tact. But I do like Simon’s judging talent. But Simon’s programs aren’t at the top of my list anyhow, so who cares? TRISTAN MacMANUS has to win on Dancing With The Stars…otherwise my life is over as I once knew it…

With the response he received from the first “cute” comment, he should have known to quit while he was ahead. It seems he was an idiot to make the second comment at the point.
