Sick of hearing about Johnny Weir and his divorce, Harvey Fierstein refers to him as a ‘faggot’
Johnny Weir’s highly-public on-again off-again divorce from husband Victor Voronov has apparently gotten on Harvey Fierstein last nerve.
When the multiple Tony winner, currently on Broadway in Casa Valentina, was asked by Huffington Post about issues he is speaking out these days he replied: ‘Anything but Johnny Weir. Leave me alone with that faggot. Anything but Johnny Weir and his divorce.’
Weir called off his divorce from hubby Victor Voronov and in a May 6 tweet said: ‘My husband and I have happily reconciled. Please respect our privacy and integrity at this time.’
The request for privacy came after more than a month of public accusations, court filings, TV interviews from both men and fights over belongings.
They married in December 2011 and Voronov said as recently as last month that Weir only married him in order to have fodder for his reality show and that he was blindsided by the split.
Weir had said Voronov did not want to work despite have earned a law degree and that he was ‘in a very threatening marriage.’

I wholeheartedly agree. Just because he’s a gay man it doesn’t give him license to act like a spoiled little girl child star. Man the f#€k up already Mr. Weir, and start behaving like the 30 year old man you are.

The tow gives it kind of a Romanian effect, don’t you think. In plain English, I agree, Harvey, they are nauseating.

There are 2 words that I try to avoid using in referring to gay men and that is “queer” and “faggot” mainly because I can’t stand those 2 words. However, growing up I learned that there is a difference between being gay and being queer. So I applaud Harvey for saying what he did about Johnny. The time to stop acting like a brat has long past and its time that he grew up. He doesn’t set a good example for young gay teens.

Don’t like the use any more than the N word. I’ll give Harvey a partial pass though. Weir is, for me, an embarrassment to the gay community if not the human race in its entirety.
