Showtune Sunday: Some of Barbra Streisand’s Oscar-nominated and winning musical moments

Tonight’s Academy Awards telecast is going to be very musical.

We know there is going to be a tribute to The Wizard of Oz with Liza and her siblings and we know Bette is performing something.

Last year, Barbra Streisand performed so she won’t be there this time around.

But Streisand and the Oscars go back a long way.

She won the Best Actress Oscar for Funny Girl so I’ve included Don’t Rain on My Parade.

Then she won the songwriting Oscar for Evergreen for the classic song she wrote with Paul Williams for A Star is Born.

Then two songs from Streisand’s directorial debut Yentl were nominated for Best Original Song including Papa Can You Hear Me.

And finally, Streisand was nominated again for Best Original Song for her song I Finally Found Someone from The Mirror Has Two Faces which she also directed.
