Showtune Sunday: Real-life best pals Angela Lansbury and Bea Arthur duet on “Bosom Buddies”

Today would have been Angela Lansbury’s 97th birthday. The five-time Tony winner died five days ago and left us with so many wonderful musical memories including this magical duet: Bosom Buddies from Mame. Her partner is real-life best buddy Bea Arthur joins her for the pilot bitchiest. They starred together on Broadway as Mame Dennis ands Vera Charles in the smash Broadway musical Mame for which they both won Tony awards.
