Showtune Sunday: It’s all about Broadway legend Patti LuPone on her 64th birthday

From Eva Peron, Reno Sweeney and Mama Rose to Fantine, Norma Desmond and Mrs Lovett, Patti LuPone has originated and revived some of the great roles in theater on Broadway and the West End in London.

She is, quite simply, one of the best there’s ever been.

So happy 64th birthday to this national treasure, a two-time Tony winner who is one of the great talents – and divas – of our time.
