Showtune Sunday: Celebrating the unsinkable Debbie Reynolds who will be honored by SAG tonight
Am thrilled that the great Debbie Reynolds will be getting the Screen Actors Guild’s Lifetime Achievement Award tonight. The award will be presented by her daughter, Carrie Fisher.
I can’t think of anyone more deserving.
She’s had such a long move career – from 1952’s Singin’ in the Rain to 2013’s Behind the Candelabra.
In between, she starred in such films as The Tender Trap, Tammy and the Bachelor, How the West Was Won, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Mother, and In & Out, among many others.
Not to mention her Broadway shows, hundreds TV appearances and the one woman show she had done and the countless times she has done her one-woman show in Las Vegas and all around the country.
The unsinkable Debbie, 82, is one of a kind – and still going strong!
