Showtune Sunday: All about the great Betty Buckley who we wish a very happy birthday!

When you hear Betty Buckley sing, there is no mistaking it for anybody else.

This lady is one of a kind and today is her birthday!

The great star opens this month at The Ahmanson in Los Angeles in Grey Gardens and I cannot wait to see it. Miss Buckley won the Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in Cats. Her other Broadway credits include Pippin, 1776, Song and Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Triumph of Love and Sunset Boulevard.

She’s recorded many albums and performs in concerts and shows around the world and has legions for fans – including me!
