Showtune Sunday: All About that talented Dreamgirl Loretta Devine on her 67th birthday!

Since the great Loretta Devine is one of my favorite performers and since today is her 67th birthday, one of Broadway’s original Dreamgirls gets the Showtune Sunday spotlight all to herself.

I wish there was more video available of Loretta’s singing because she really is magnificent.

I’ve seen her sing live twice and she took my breath away.

If you are only familiar with her through her work in movies (Waiting to Exhale, Crash, Dirty Laundry) and television (Boston Public, Eli Stone, Grey’s Anatomy) then you are missing out on a spectacular dimension of her immense talent.
