Showtune Sunday: All About Idina Menzel!

Before last Sunday’s Oscars, Idina Menzel was best known as a Tony Award-winning actress (Wicked) who played Rachel’s mother on Glee and in real-life is married to Taye Diggs.

Now, she’s a household name.

That’s all thanks to John Travolta’s now-classic mangling of her name when he introduced Idina’s performance of the song Let it Go from the animated film Frozen.

Travolta inexplicably introduced Menzel as Adele Dazeem and it was a gaffe that has taken on a life of its own with its own Twitter account, Letterman Top 10 List and unprecedented attention focused on the amazingly talented Miss Menzel.
