Showtune Sunday: All About Dame Shirley Bassey!
Ever since seeing her perform Goldfinger at the Oscars in 2013, I’ve been all about Shirley Bassey.
I was late to the party, really had to idea how completely fabulous she is.
Today’s is Dame Bassey’s 86th birthday and I can think of no better way to celebrate that with several of her numbers.

I was in the Air Force and stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany during the mid-80s.
Shirley Bassey was the queen.
Many of the department stores at night would have televisions in the windows playing an endless loop of their favorite entertainers of the day. Shirley and Liza were a favorite.
