Showtune Sunday: All about Barry Manilow!
Barry Manilow is on my mind because 1) He just got married and is now publicly out 2) I have tickets to see him at Staples Center this week.
I’ve picked out three big Manilow ballads that are among my favorites: Weekend in New England, Somewhere Down the Road and Even Now.

Is he actually “publicly” out yet? Bear with me, I’m seeing articles that state he got married last April to his manager in a ceremony that didn’t involve paperwork. (Thus not “legally” married if that’s true.) So this is still just speculation? Has he commented in any official way?
(I don’t care either way, whatever makes him happy; though, I will say it sad if true on one level because even recently he’s denied it as he has for years and years, even making some rather homophobic jokes on occasion.)
