Showtune Sunday: All about b-day girl Bette Midler
The divine Bette Midler is bringing her Broadway triumph I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers to the Geffen Theatre this month.
But that’s a dramatic role in which Bette does not get to sing.
So in honor of her 68th birthday today, let’s enjoy a handful of her musical performances from over the years.
I’m focusing on the ballads because I love Bette’s ballads. She doesn’t have a voice like Streisand but she knows how to sell a song!
