Showtime Sunday: Legendary Diva Edition
I’ve been in Palm Springs the last several days.
On Friday night, I was at a club named Spurline for an evening of showtune videos.
When the scene of Judy Garland singing The Trolly Song from Meet Me St. Louis came on, a twentysomething standing near me says to his companion: “Isn’t that the bitch from The Wizard of Oz?
OMG!
I think that youngster needs a little primer on legendary divas and who better to teach him that Judy herself along with Barbra, Merman, LuPone, Midler and Liza with a Z!

Showing film classics is what Spurline is infamous for. Enjoy the videos and PS heat. Are you also staying take in PS ShortFest beginning tomorrow/Monday the 18th thru 23rd??
