Sharing a sweet memory of Bonnie Pointer of The Pointer Sisters who has died at 69

So very sad to learn of the passing of Bonnie Pointer of The Pointer Sisters. It was a year ago this week that I met she and her sister Anita at an LGBT Pride event at The Hollywood Museum. We got stuck next to each other in a crowd for about 20 minutes waiting for the elevator door to the event to open and Bonnie ended up singing a little bit of “He’s So Shy” for me. I’ll never get over it – ever! Later we giggled together at the buffet. Such a lovely memory of a year ago this week. Condolences to Anita Pointer and all the family.
