Serena plays for fourth US Open title Sunday!
There’s no way Serena Williams is not going to win her fourth US Open tomorrow – no way. All that stands in her way is an Australian player named Sam Stosur who she plays in the women’s final.
Stosur is a fine player who is ranked in the top 1o and was a French Open finalist last year. But she will be no match for a focused and fit Serena who has not lost a match since Wimbledon.
Serena beat top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki 6-2, 6-4 in the semis, leaving no doubt who the real number one in the world is.
After missing the better part of a year with injuries and illness, Williams is one the verge of winning her 14th grand slam singles championship – twice the number her sister Venus has.
“For me, it’s amazing,” she said after the match. “I’ve come a long way, a really long way.”

Woo hoo, she’s back and at the same time my mind ponders what she could have acheived had she been this focused her whole career, but, happy just to have her back :), just too bad the men’s side does not have one player I care about left.
