See trailer for remake of ‘Beaches’ with Idina Menzel

Lifetime released a trailer for its Beaches remake on Monday giving us our first look at Idina Menzel and Nia Long in the roles originated by Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey in the 1988 original.

I’ve seen the original movie at least 50 times over the years so I’ll really be able to compare this new version

Menzel covers of Wind Beneath My Wings in the film which premieres Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
