See Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and the rest in the new trailer for the “Rock of Ages” feature film!
Now that I’ve seen Rock of Ages live (at The Pantages in LA last month), I’m very eager to see the movie version which comes out in June.
It’s a real change-of-pace role for Tom Cruise as rock star Stacee Jaxx and it’s always a treat when he makes bold choices in his film roles like he did in Magnolia and in Tropic Thunder.

Julianne has a beautiful voice and personality. I especially love the part in the trailer where shes walking up singing just like living in paradise looks awesome.
The anti gay wackjob Tom Cruise is however a huge turnoff from this film.

This movie looks like a lot of fun. I think Tom Cruise is better when he steps out of his usual action genre. He surprised me in Interview with the Vampire and I thought his performance in Collateral was pretty good. I’ll definitely check this one out.
