See the trailer for the Russell Tovey film ‘Pass’

Russell Tovey was barely in Looking: The Movie but his few scenes with Jonathan Groff were among the best in the film. He’s a terrific actor and a gorgeous guy si I’m really looking forward to seeing him in the football drama Pass. Tovey plays Jason, a Premier League footballer whose life takes a turn after he shares an unexpected kiss with fellow teammate Ade (Arinze Kene).

The kiss happened the night before Jason’s first big international game, and the emotional complications follow the two men over the next 10 years.

The Pass is adapted from John Donnelly’s critically-acclaimed 2014 play of the same title, and produced by Duncan Kenworthy, whose previous works include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually.
