Kathy Griffin is still very funny and I’m glad to see her back in good form after a lung cancer battle, a damaged vocal cord, a divorce and a suicide attempt. And this was all in the years her career was derailed after her infamous Trump photo got her canceled from paid gigs in the U.S. including the CNN New Year’s Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper.

She has shown resilience and is a survivor and I fondly recall our interview in the 2000s as we sat on a piano bench at the Chateau Marmont.

Kathy shared with fans a few months ago that she couldn’t get a streamer to buy her latest special because she didn’t want to trim its 1:50 running time. I love her stories about Paris Hilton’s holiday party, about Sharon Stone and Jane Fonda and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. There’s some great stuff here! But maybe it could have been edited down by maybe a half hour. I split watching it over two different nights.
