See preview of Zachary Quinto on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Whether it’s Spock in the Star Trek movies or Sylar on TV’s Heroes, Zachary Quinto knows how to get into character.

The out actor posted a photo of himself on Instagram today made up as Missy Elliott whose song, Get Ur Freak On, he performs on this week’s episode of Lip Sync Battle.

‘It’s pretty high intensity, a lot of production elements, basically a live performance that I’ve had about two days to rehearse for, with a 700-person audience,’ Quinto had previously told Entertainment Weekly of competing on Lip Sync Battle.

‘It’s unlike anything I’ve done, which is why I wanted to do it, but I feel like I’m going to bring it.’

The episode featuring Quinto airs on Spike TV on Thursday. He competes against fellow Star Trek Beyond alum Zoe Saldana.
