See preview of Sunday’s episode of HBO’s “Looking” with Jonathan Groff and Russell Tovey
I don’t have HBO (yikes!) so I have not seen past the first two episodes of Looking. But I’m rooting for it to succeed and plan to sit and watch it all once it’s available via DVD or streaming or whatever the options are now.
Sunday’s episode has the guys at San Francisco’s annual leather Folsom Street Fair!
Love hearing Jonathan Groff and Russell Tovey talking about ass-less chaps!

Ok Greg & Rich…. Now’s the time to support HBO with your gay dollars to show their appreciation for “Looking.”
I, like you, did not have HBO but added it to my cable package at $15 month. You can go month to month with HBO with no contracts or commitments. “Looking” is a niche show and if the gay community doesn’t get behind it, HBO will feel that not enough viewers care about it. There are a lot of other great shows on HBO as well such as “Girls” with Andrew Rannells returning, Bill Maher, etc.
Sacrifice those Starbucks runs and other wasteful spending and support this great gay program. Ratings are not as important to HBO as new subscribers are. Don’t wait for a DVD release or for someone to illegally download an episode to YouTube. And Greg, you can’t always expect freebies! LOL

Read ‘Looking’ being compared to ‘Girls’ and ‘Sex In The City’. Had a lot of interest with SITC and still look for a possible episode that I’ve not seen.
Richard – by adding HBO, do you think your cable company would share this detail with HBO? Also did you share with your cable company your reason for adding HBO?
I will contact DirecTV for the added costs and share here what I discover and/or the HBO addition.
Greg – appreciate your comments about subscribing HBO.

Yes, I did share that information. HBO needs as many viewers of Looking on any and all platforms such as live viewing, rerun viewing, HBOGo app on a tablet, cell phone, Apple TV, etc.
This data will tell HBO execs if enough viewers watch and follow the program. So it’s not all about Nielsen ratings.
