Michael C. Hall is ready for his close-up on Broadway in the title role in the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The show about a transgender punk rock singer has continued to be a hit even after the departure in August of Tony winning star Neil Patrick Harris.

Andrew Rannells has stepped into the role for the past two months at the Belasco Theatre.

Hall takes over for Rannells on October 16 and will be in the role through the end of the year.
