See Lindsay Lohan’s very public therapy session on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”

I kind of wish Ellen DeGeneres had maybe just asked Lindsay Lohan to meet her at Starbucks for a chat about her break-up with Samantha Ronson instead of doing it on her talk show. But hey, this is showbiz.

Ellen conducted a very caring and thoughtful interview with Lohan and she asked all the hard questions about Ronson, restraining orders, tabloids etc. But to me, this girl seems like a complete mess who really needs to step off the merry-go-round and get herself together. Ellen even eluded to her split from Anne Heche several years ago: “I went through a very public break-up, I lost my career for awhile and I went away and hibernated ..I went to Ojai for three years.”

And Ellen, as we know, came back bigger and stronger than ever, found love again, and is a national treasure.

But Lindsay does not seem interested in doing that: “I feel like I want to get my career back in shape,” she said. “I’ve been working every day.”

Slow down girl!

Then there was this statement from Lindsay which left me a bit incredulous: “I have great people around me.”

Despite her claims that she’s doing great and that the relationship and its constant rogether did not allow her enough time to focus on herself and her career, she seems to be leaving the door open for a reconciliation saying “I really care about Samantha and we’ll see what happens.”
