See former champion Dominic Thiem’s emotional final point & retirement tribute at 2024 US Open

One of the cutest champions in US Open history was Dominic Thiem who who won the title in 2020 after twice being runner-up at the French Open and once at the Australian Open. Yesterday he played his final US Open match – a first-round loss to rising star Ben Shelton. Such a class act. Domi was never able to fully come back from a serious wrist injury suffered in 2021 – but he sure did try.
